Merlin Love comes from a unique upbringing. Merlin was born and raised in South Africa, in a religious household by his single father.
At the age of 4 years old Merlin discovered his love for film, still recalling the first film he can remember watching as The Mask starring Jim Carrey.
At the age of 6, Merlin acted in his first stage play as an ant of all things.
When he was 12, he picked up the tiny but useful camcorder his father bought him and directed his first short film, Professor C.A.R.
Now fast forward 11 years later to 2023. After making short films with his friends and becoming skilled as a photographer, Merlin has made the biggest move of his life.
Having bought a house in Hungary, he is determined to grow in the world of independent cinema. He aims to become a director and to tell stories for the ages.

Created by Merlin J. Love, this is the tale of a man who goes to see a special kind of psychologist, who can help him find out who beats and deserted him in the woods.
The patient finds comfort in this psychologist, who uses the ability to project himself as his patients to give them a safe space. Not all is as it seems when they return to the past.
